It seems to me that at least on my system, the only way I can remove or disable it is by uninstalling Avast completely. Right now I am completely stumped and cannot find any way whatsoever to disable Safe Price. I could not find anything at all in any of those categories and settings which addressed Safe Price. I tried disabling that extension but I still got the “Safe Price” popup when I searched for products.įinally, I opened the Avast user interface itself and searched through all of the settings in ALL of the categories on the left.

The only option available for it is to either enable/disable it. There is an EXTENSION for Avast! Online Security (.75) installed however but there are no settings available for it. When I go to Firefox “Add-ons” there is NO plugin listed for Avast in the list of plugins. In fact, nothing at all happens when I left-click on that Icon. If I left-click on that circle, there is no window which opens up for Safe Price settings, either on the right or anywhere else on my screen. I assume it is for the Avast Online Security Plugin settings. There is a green circle icon in the upper right corner of the navigation toolbar which is unlabeled. I am having the same problem using Firefox 27.0.1, that is that I cannot disable “Safe Price”.
